THE STORY OF AN UNUSUAL CHOCOLATE BAR
After unsuccessfully trying to raise public attention and convince Nestlé to get into slave-free chocolate production, Teun van de Keuken (Tony in english) transformed that revelation into a for-profit company that had purpose front and center of its business.
In the 3rd evolutionary seed of People R-Evolution, Ynzo van Zanten, Chief Evangelist at Tony’s Chocolonely, helped us to explore how to get a market leading position, sales growing at 22% and a recognition among Europe’s Great Places To Work without any marketing budget and instead leveraging purpose as the beacon for greater good, introducing unlimited vacation policy and self-set team objectives, giving fair pay to farmers, nurturing trust and psychological safety with employees.
